Are you longing to feel safe in this scary world of wars and climate disasters? Ecstatic because you adore your friends, and they adore you back? Are you burning with the desire for love, friendship, power, fame, money, or justice? Or maybe you’re feeling lost, and not even sure what it is you want in this world?  

Whatever you’re going through, there are characters from Shakespeare who are right there with you!  

In “Speak the Speach… I Pray You” we’ll journey into what teenagers in our community are living through TODAY – right here and right now.   The inner lives of our actors will be expressed in this RIOTous, eclectic night of Shakespeare scenes and monologues – some live, some on film, some musical, and all original concepts that are sure to create a buzz. 

The Bard’s time travelling, shape shifting, wondrous words will be front and center – like our actors - illuminating life in Los Angeles in the 21st century.   

WHO:   12 actor-creators

Whether you have a long resume with lots of training, or you’re completely new to Shakespeare and acting in general – you are eligible for The Riot Stage.

 AGES:   All teenagers welcome.
